L'ancien ministère de la Marine récemment réhabilité recèle des trésors décoratifs dans les galeries d'apparat et les appartements intimes, merveilles du raffinement de la fin du XVIIIe siècle. Témoignage d'une ambition artistique et urbanistique, ce palais élevé sur la place de la Concorde est une oeuvre majeure du retour à l'antique et de l'émergence du style Louis XVI.
